K9 Ory

The addition of K9 "Ory" to the Marseilles, Illinois Police Department immediately created opportunities for he and his handler, K9 officer Darin Crask, to go to grade schools, high schools, and other community events to educate people about what Ory can do.

D&A Design was asked to create a marketing concept and a logo that would be used on a variety of media - t-shirts to stickers. D&A developed "ORYentation," playing on K9 Ory's name. We then used that in three different logos that communicated K9 Ory's characteristics, and was also a logo youth would want to be associated with.

After initial design work was complete for K9 Ory's logo, D&A Design learned that the brown t-shirt originally specked for production was not a color that police officers enjoy associating with. D&A Design then re-designed the t-shirts using police-friendly colors of white, blue, and black.
